Kurt practices out of the firm's Chicago and Phoenix offices. He is a leader in his firm, serving on its Management Committee, and is Practice Chair for the firm's Commercial Litigation and Professional Liability practice groups. Over his 30+ years as an attorney, Kurt has received many awards and recognitions, including being named a Top 50 Southwest Super Lawyer, an Illinois Super Lawyer, Best Lawyers in America, and the 2019 "Lawyer of the Year" in Arizona in the area of Insurance Law. He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Kurt received his law degree cum laude from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Trinity College.
The mission of the Professional Liability Defense Federation is to enhance the stature and effectiveness of professional liability defense professionals through education, training and the exchange of information.
