Claims Professional with thirty years of experience in medical malpractice claims. I am currently the Vice President of Claims at COPIC Insurance Company where I manage a team of ten claims consultants and two claims supervisors. COPIC is a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance to health care professionals, group practices, hospitals and other medical facilities in twelve states. My previous experience includes working for Zurich-American Insurance Group where my responsibilities included managing litigation of over 150 multi-line professional liability claims with an emphasis on medical malpractice nationwide. I also spent 12 years with Illinois Hospital Association which represents more than 200 hospitals and health systems throughout Illinois.
The mission of the Professional Liability Defense Federation is to enhance the stature and effectiveness of professional liability defense professionals through education, training and the exchange of information.
