| Peter Biging is an accomplished trial and appellate attorney with more than 30 years of experience as a litigator in the state and federal courts of New York. His practice focuses on professional liability work, including the defense of a variety of professionals against errors and omissions claims, labor and employment practices litigation, commercial litigation, municipal liability litigation, and professional liability coverage work. He is a member of Goldberg Segalla’s Professional Liability, where he functions as the group's Vice Chair for its national professional liability practice. He is also a member of the firm's Labor and Employment, Global Insurance Services, Business and Commercial, and Municipal and Governmental Liability Practice Groups.BRBRIn addition to his legal successes, Peter is a prolific author and presenter on professional liability and coverage issues, and has spoken at numerous national conferences for PLUS, PLDF, the ABA, CLM, Mealey's, ExecuSummit, and others. He is the incoming Chair of the American Bar Association ABA Professional Liability Insurance Committee PLIC, and has served on the ABA Section of Litigation’s Committees on Employment & Labor Relations, Insurance Coverage Litigation, and Professional Liability Litigation, and as editor for the ABA’s Professionals’, Officers’, and Directors’ Liability Committee newsletter. |
