BEN ANDREWS is a civil trial lawyer located in Tallahassee, Florida, practicing in Florida and south Georgia. He is board certified as a specialist in civil trial law by the Florida Bar, a designation he has held since in 2003. He practices in the areas of professional malpractice defense with special emphasis on insurance agents and brokers, miscellaneous professionals, construction defect claims, insurance coverage claims, and general insurance defense. He is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and in the United States District Court, Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. He is also admitted to practice in the state courts of Georgia and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. He has previously served as General Counsel to the Tallahassee Claims Association. His membership in professional associations include: The Florida Bar, The State Bar of Georgia, Tallahassee Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, PLDF, Council on Litigation Management, and Defense Research Institute.
Ben received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida in 1985. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law with honors in 1988. He served as a law clerk to Judge Maurice M. Paul, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Florida, from 1988 to 1989. Since 1989, Ben has defended many professionals, business owners, individuals, and corporate entities in all types of liability claims in federal and state courts throughout Florida and south Georgia.
Ben and his wife Kristy enjoy spending as much time as possible with their four children and their extended families, entertaining, traveling, boating, or just gathering.
