Privacy Counsel and Computer Forensic Investigators will discuss the challenges and threats law firms and insurance carriers currently face in the cyber security world.

Business entities both large and small are constantly faced with ongoing and new cyber risks and potential cyber attacks. Our presenters will discuss the types of cyber threats and attacks faced in the legal world and how the insurance industry is responding to these incidents. The presenters will also discuss ways in which law firms and insurance carriers can improve and defend against ransomware attacks and other data incidents that entities are facing in 2022.

Featured Speakers

 

Shawn Fleury is a Senior Director at Unit 42 with PaloAlto Networks. Mr. Fleury has handled incident response, risk assessments and digital forensics for companies across a variety of industries over a 23 year career. Mr. Fleury assists businesses of all sizes in their risk management, digital investigations and computer forensics before and after breaches have occurred.

 David J. Shannon is a Shareholder at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin. His practice focuses on privacy laws, data breach response and intellectual property matters. Mr. Shannon has defended privacy actions throughout the United States and has responded to hundreds of data breaches and data incidents in the last ten years.
