William B. Oberts is a director at Tribler Orpett & Meyer, P.C. where he concentrates his practice on representing professionals. Mr. Oberts represents attorneys in professional liability matters in both state and federal court and disciplinary matters before the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission. He also represents other professionals such as agents and brokers in liability matters in state and federal court and disciplinary matters before the Illinois Department of Professional & Financial Regulations. He was selected from over 700 nominees as one of the top "40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty To Watch" by Law Bulletin Publishing Co. He was also recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyer magazine. He regularly lectures and publishes articles on a variety of issues regarding professional liability, ethics, civility and professionalism. Mr. Oberts has achieved favorable results for his clients in both state and federal court through mediation, as lead counsel in several jury trials and as appellate counsel.
