Structure & Leadership

The Professional Liability Defense Federation™ is organized around nine substantive practice committees that specialize in professional liability claims: medical, other healthcare, legal, accounting, investment, corporate governance, insurance, real estate, and construction design. Each of the substantive practice committees seeks to include as co-chairs legal and claim professional representatives to ensure comprehensive information sharing from the sometimes different perspectives of the defense team. Committee leaders assist with article publication, expert data bank management, law update reporting, and annual meeting presentations. Leadership track opportunities are also available for overall association management including president, vice president, secretary and treasurer positions.
